What is a recycling-based lifestyle?

KKNS engages in various projects in order to recycle.

One of our projects is to utilize abandoned lumber; some parts of our buildings are made using abandoned lumber. We do not use petroleum for heaters. Instead, we utilize abandoned lumber and trees for our wood stoves. What some people may consider to be garbage, to us, is a useful source of building supplies and firewood.

We also utilize all kitchen garbage, transforming them into food for the animals and fertilizer for the plants through composting. The kitchen garbage will eventually be converted into eggs and vegetables so our resources are fully recycled.
