Dogs at KKNS

We have five dogs living with us at KKNS. We walk the dogs twice every single day of the year: once in the morning and once at night.

Other animals

Currently we have a horse, two goats, rabbits, bantams, and silky fowls living at KKNS. Their waste is used to fertilize our farm/fields.

Rice fields and agricultural farms

KKNS has been practicing organic farming ever since the beginning. No chemical fertilizers are used in our farm or our fields. We believe that it is important to make our own food because doing so will ensure that the food we eat is safe. Also, doing so helps us become independent of the global economy; where money rules everything.

The Matsukura campus and Monji club also have rice fields. We keep challenging ourselves to improve our organic farming lifestyle in cooperation with our neighborhood.
